BREIF DESCRIPTION OF THE PROGRAM:
As most of you must be aware Goa has attained a place of pride on the International Tourist Circuit. Goa is one of India’s most laid-back yet sophisticated and exciting destinations. Goa offers miles and miles of sunny beaches, well preserved churches, temples and forts, lush green forests, abundant wild life, spectacular pageantry, colourful festivals, warm and gracious people, superb cuisine. There is so much to see - and you feel there’s too little time. A visit to Goa is incomplete without North & South Goa sightseeing and river cruise on River Mandovi. Over the years we have observed that the campers find it difficult to go for sight-seeing & river cruise as Dec - Jan is the peak season and getting tour booking is difficult. Moreover 2 days are required as North & South Goa tours are conducted separately. Needless to say that the price paid for these tours is also high. Keeping in mind requirement of our campers and in association with Goa Tourism Development Corporation (A Govt. of Goa Undertaking) we have worked a combine North & South Goa tour, the cost of which has been included in the fees paid whereas participants will have to pay for the River Cruise.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE: The members desirous of joining the programme may apply on a prescribed Registration Form. Form should be sent along with draft of participation fee. Each family shall report at the Base camp on the allotted reporting date. One Family consisting of Husband, Wife and 2 children below 12 yrs per tent can participate per seat. Membership is Mandatory for all participants above 18 years. Membership can be availed at the Basecamp on arrival.
HOW TO REACH THE BASE CAMP: The base camp is located at Sports Authority Ground, Near Miramar Beach, Panaji Goa. The nearest railway stations are Thivim (25Kms), Karmali (12 km) and Margao (33km.). State bus service is available. Direct bus service is also available from Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore & Mangalore. Direct trains are available from Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad and major cities of India.

PROGRAMME SCHEDULE & ROUTE
DAY 1: Report at base camp-Sport Authority Ground, Campal, Panaji.
DAY 2: Goa Darshan
DAY 3: One day Beach picnic
DAY 4: Shopping – Free day
DAY 5: Check out after breakfast
ACCOMMODATION FACILITIES: Tented accommodation, One Family consisting of Husband, Wife and 2 children below 12 yrs per tent.
FOOD & WATER SUPPLIES: Morning tea, breakfast, lunch / packed lunch, evening tea and Dinner shall be provided. Simple vegetarian, good quality nutritious food shall be served at the camp. Please bring your own plates, mugs, spoons, tiffin box for pack lunch etc.
WHAT PARTICIPANTS SHOULD BRING ALONG: Please bring your own plates, mugs, spoons, tiffin box for pack lunch, Mosquito repellent and medicines which you normally use at home.
ATTENTION: This is an environment friendly camp. Do not litter any wrapper or spoil the camp in any way. Please ensure eco-friendliness. The participants should also note that Family Camping is held along with National Trekking Expedition and the families should strictly follow YHAI discipline. WASHING OF CLOTHES OTHER THAN INNER WEAR IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
USE OF ALCOHOL AND NARCOTICS OF ANY DESCRIPTION ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED DURING THE COURSE OF THE PROGRAMME.
CANCELLATION RULES:
1) Participants booked online will do online cancellation minimum 10 days prior to your reporting date
2) Participants booked offline will inform their cancellation by email to goastateyhai@gmail.com minimum 10 days prior to your reporting date.
Only cancellation done as per above method will be eligible for credit shell. The below cancellation policy will however not be applicable if the request reaches short of 10 days prior to reporting date and shall not be eligible for credit shell.
Cancellation Policy:
1) In case you are unable to join the programme due to any reason, you will get a 100% Credit Shell of the participation fees which will be valid till December 2025. No refund will be applicable for any cancellation of seat.
2) If the next programme opted by you is cheaper, you may use the balance amount in any of the Trek till Dec 2025.
3) If the next opted programme is costlier, the trekker has to pay the differential amount.
4) Program opted using the Credit Shell cannot be cancelled again in any condition.
5) You may transfer your seat to your family members and friends also. The seats thus transferred cannot be retransferred or cancelled.
