 BREIF DESCRIPTION OF THE PROGRAMME:      

Puducherry a favourite traveler’s destination in South India attracts tourists from far and wide. It is the former headquarters of the French colony in India and is often described as ‘The French Riviera of the East’.  Puducherry’s beauty lies in its magnificent colonial mansions, serene promenades, and beautiful boulevards. Puducherry has a distinct spiritual vibration that cannot be felt anywhere else in India. The blend of spiritual aura, colonial heritage, Tamil Culture, and the cosmopolitan flair of many nationalities provides a wonderful experience for tourists.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

1.     Any YHAI member who is medically fit and aged between 20 to 65 years can participate. Copy of Medical fitness certificate and Age proof must be attached with application form or must be submitted at the time of reporting in camp site.

2.     YHAI membership is mandatory. But any Non-member can enroll membership at the time of booking.

3.     Passport size photograph of the Individual must be affixed on the form. A photo identity proof (preferably Aadhaar Card copy) copy of participants should be attached with the application form/ to be produced at the time of reporting at the campsite.

HOW TO REACH THE BASE CAMP:

 Our campsite is well connected from Puducherry Bus Stand (4.7 km), from Puducherry Railway Station (5.1 km) & from Puducherry Airport (4.8 km).

 From Chennai Airport & Chennai Central Railway Station: Take Metro Train and get down at CMBT (Koyambedu Bus Stand). From CMBT board bus to Puducherry via Bypass Route & get down at JIPMER Bus stop, Puducherry.

ACCOMMODATION FACILITIES:

Semi-furnished, Twin Sharing, Bath attached; Non-AC room will be provided.

FOOD & WATER SUPPLIES:

Simple vegetarian food and safe drinking water will be provided.

BOOK ONLINE:  YES /NO: 30 Individuals (first come first serve basis)

Online Booking: Members desirous of joining this programme may apply online (www.yhai.org) by paying the requisite programme fee Rs.8,500/- per person. After a successful transaction Admit Card will be generated. Participant has to carry an "Admit Card & Membership Card"(a photo copy of membership card may also be accepted) at the time of reporting to the Camp site.
