BREIF DESCRIPTION OF THE PROGRAM:      As most of you must be aware Goa has attained a place of pride on the International Tourist Circuit. Goa is one of India’s most laid-back yet sophisticated and exciting destinations. Goa offers miles and miles of sunny beaches, well preserved churches, temples and forts, lush green forests, abundant wild life, spectacular pageantry, colourful festivals, warm and gracious people, superb cuisine. There is so much to see - and you feel there’s too little time. A visit to Goa is incomplete without North & South Goa sightseeing and river cruise on River Mandovi. Over the years we have observed that the campers find it difficult to go for sight-seeing & river cruise as Dec - Jan is the peak season and getting tour booking is difficult. Moreover 2 days are required as North & South Goa tours are conducted separately. Needless to say that the price paid for these tours is also high. Keeping in mind requirement of our campers and in association with Goa Tourism Development Corporation (A Govt. of Goa Undertaking) we have worked a combine North & South Goa tour, the cost of which has been included in the fees paid whereas participants will have to pay for the River Cruise.



WHO CAN PARTICIPATE:   The members desirous of joining the programme may apply on a prescribed Registration Form. Form should be sent along with draft of participation fee. Each family shall report at the Base camp on the allotted reporting date. One Family consisting of Husband, Wife and 2 children below 12 yrs per tent can participate per seat. Husband, Wife and Children above 18 years, membership is Mandatory.



HOW TO REACH THE BASE CAMP: The base camp is located at Sports Authority Ground, Near Miramar Beach, Panaji Goa. The nearest railway stations are Thivim (25Kms), Karmali (12 km) and Margao (33km.). State bus service is available. Direct bus service is also available from Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore & Mangalore. Direct trains are available from Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad and major cities of India.



HOW TO JOIN: Members desirous of joining the programme may apply on a prescribed Registration Form duly supported by a Medical Certificate, which is attached with the form. Photocopies of the forms are acceptable. Form should be sent along with draft of participation fee. Member may also register through online booking.

ACCOMMODATION FACILITIES: Tented accommodation, One Family consisting of Husband, Wife and 2 children below 12 yrs per tent.



FOOD & WATER SUPPLIES: Morning tea, breakfast, lunch / packed lunch, evening tea and Dinner shall be provided. Simple vegetarian, good quality nutritious food shall be served at the camp. Please bring your own plates, mugs, spoons, tiffin box for pack lunch etc.



WHAT PARTICIPANTS SHOULD BRING ALONG: Please bring your own plates, mugs, spoons, tiffin box for pack lunch, Mosquito repellent and medicines which you normally use at home.



ATTENTION: This is an environment friendly camp. Do not litter any wrapper or spoil the camp in any way. Please ensure eco-friendliness. The participants should also note that Family Camping is held along with National Trekking Expedition and the families should strictly follow YHAI discipline. WASHING OF CLOTHES OTHER THAN INNER WEAR IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED.





Kindly note that the below mentioned cancellation policy will be applicable only in case you are unable to join the Expedition and  have informed by email to goastateyhai@gmail.com or trekking@yhaindia.org  atleast 10 days prior to your reporting date and  only then your participation fee will be kept in credit shell. Cancellation requests by email only to goastateyhai@gmail.com or trekking@yhaindia.org  will be accepted.  The below cancellation policy will however not be applicable if the request reaches short of 10 days prior to reporting date


 1) In case you are unable to join the programme due to any reason or if YHAI cancels the program due to unavoidable circumstance, you will get a 100% Credit Shell of the participation fees which will be valid till December 2023. No refund will be applicable for any cancellation of seat.

2) If the next programme opted by you is cheaper, you may use the balance amount in any of the programme till Dec 2023.

3) If the next opted programme is costlier, the trekker has to pay the differential amount.

4) If the trekker opts for the same programme that was cancelled, he/she will not be charged extra even if the price goes up next year.

5) You may transfer your seat to your family members and friends also
