*BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE PROGRAM:
The purpose of the programme is to expose the YHAI members to a greater adventure and to rough the rigors of plodding with a sense of love for nature and outdoor recreational activity in the wildlife areas of Nilgiris.

DAY WISE SCHEDULE:
Day 1: Reporting at the Base Camp - Govt. Youth Hostel Ooty
Day 2: Ooty Youth Hostel to Parson’s Valley (12 Kms.)
Day 3: Parson’s Valley to Pandiar Hills (10 Kms.)
Day 4: Pandiar Hills to Naduvattam (12 Kms.)
Day 5: Naduvattam to Mudumalai (16 Kms.)
Day 6: Disperse after Breakfast

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
The minimum age for a member to join the program is 10 years to 75 Years, YHAI membership is mandatory to participate. This condition will be adhered to strictly. Underage and above age will not be considered in any case.
ACCOMMODATION FACILITIES: Tented accommodation.
FOOD & WATER SUPPLIES: Simple vegetarian and nutritious food will be served
WHAT PARTICIPANTS SHOULD BRING ALONG: Cotton Shirts, Cotton Pants, bed sheet, sweater, shoes, sun cap, raincoat, two pairs of socks, torch, water bottle, lunch box, mug, plate, tumbler, cold cream, and a first-aid kit.
SAFETY & SECURITY:
While every care has been taken to ensure safety, the Youth Hostels Association of India cannot be held responsible for any theft, accident, illness, and other such unforeseen eventualities.
CANCELLATION RULES: (Online/Offline)
1) In case you are unable to join the programme due to any reason, you will get a 100% Credit Shell of the participation fees which will be valid till December 2023. The request for cancellation or transfer or postponement must be received by us by email or any written mode before 7 days from the reporting date of your program. After that no request of transfer or refund or postponement will be considered. No refund will be applicable for any cancellation of a seat and credit shell will be provided only.
2. In case the participant cancels the program from his own end, he/she is eligible for 50% monetary refund provided the participant cancels the program 21 days prior to the starting date of the program.
3. YHAI is not liable to pay any personal travelling expenses to the participants in case of any cancellation of the program.
