* BREIF DESCRIPTION OF THE PROGRAM:

Purpose of the programme is to create in the minds of the youth, a sense of Love for the countryside by way of offering them new trekking routes and thereby providing them an outdoor recreational activity with the aim of promoting National Integration by bringing them together from all parts of the country.

* DAY WISE SCHEDULE:

Day 1:  The Reporting Day: Base camp at Muppane Nature Camp from 10.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. allowed to reach Base Camp by

Day 2:  Trekking to Dabbe Falls 12.5 Kms with view of beautiful falls & back to base camp.

Day 3:  Trekking from Bheemeshwara to Bachooddi and back to base camp at Nagavalli Govt. High School 9 Kms.

Day 4:  Trekking from Nagolli to Edigudda towards MeghaneHills and back to base camp 13 kms.

Day 5:  Trekking to Kanoor fort in tough and thick terrain forest and towards Nagarabastjkere- Gerusoppa total 16. Kms and back to home town. Local buses available from Gerusoppa to nearest Railway Station / Bus stand is Honnavara (HNA), Talaguppa(TLGP) &Sagara (SRF).

* WHAT PARTICIPANTS SHOULD BRING ALONG:

One back pack (Main), Water bottles (enough to carry at least 2 Litres of water) Lunch Box with Spoon (Compulsory) Torches with new batteries. Full arm cotton clothes preferable, good walking/ hiking/ sports shoes with good grip. Toiletries (Shampoo, towel, toothpaste, tissue paper etc). Cold cream, Sunscreen & Sunglasses, Light Weight Rain Coat/Poncho/Jacket ( torn escape a quick burst of rain), Sleeping bag/ Small Blankets, Mosquito Repellent Cream. One small back pack to carry items during trek.

 

 

* SAFETY & SECURITY:

 

Extensive preparations have gone into the planning of trek route for your safety. While even/ care has been taken to ensure safety. The YHAI cannot be held responsible for any accidents, illness, natural Calamity and any such unforeseen eventualities.

Deviation from the set route of the program is not permitted. If participant desires to join any other activity they may do so at their own responsibility and risk only after finishing the trek and taking checkout.

notice subject to weather condition or any unforeseen entered.

* CANCELLATION RULES:

In case you are unable to join the trek after paying the participation fee you will get a refund of Rs2,000/- p provided your request is received at least 7 working days in advance from the date of reporting at Karnataka State Office in writing of Email, otherwise no refund will be admissible.
